About Kablys
Kablys is a club and concert venue in the former Vilnius Railway Workers' Palace of Culture at Kauno g. 5, in the Naujamiestis district of Vilnius. The building went up in 1958 for railway workers and housed the Vilnius Polish Theatre from 1963 to 1993. In 1994 Mindaugas Navakas's sculpture Kablys (the hook) was fixed to the middle of the pediment, and the building has been known by that name since. The Kablys leisure centre opened inside in 2011 on the initiative of Vilius Alesius. Today it hosts touring bands alongside all-night electronic events, including the ANOMALIJA techno series, whose 2026 programme brought Mischluft in April and closes with Daria Kolosova and Salome in December. It opens only for scheduled events.
