About Plano B
Plano B is a club and cultural venue at Rua Cândido dos Reis 30 in central Porto, near the Clérigos area. It opened in December 2006 in a former garment warehouse, founded by architects Bernardo Fonseca and Filipe Teixeira and the artist and musician João Carlos Teixeira. The venue spreads over two floors with three music rooms: a wood-lined upstairs bar, Galeria, and the basement spaces Cubo and Palco. A new chapter began in 2021 under new ownership. The programme runs from house and techno to experimental sounds, with a regular Thursday night called Nightshift for local DJs, and recent guests include John Talabot (25 September 2026).
