About Mucho Flow
Mucho Flow returns to Guimaraes from 29 to 31 October 2026, three days of experimental and forward looking music in the Portuguese city that gave the country its name. The festival spreads across venues in the historic centre, a UNESCO listed medieval core, and has built a reputation over more than a decade for programming artists ahead of their wider recognition rather than after it.
The 2026 bill runs across genres. Bloodsports from New York bring post punk dissonance, Charlie Osborne arrives from London with a visual artist’s approach to composition, the Melbourne trio Dumbhead play trip hop built over an operatic choir, and gyrofield brings drum and bass and electronic production from Hong Kong. DJ Lynce, the Porto resident who has played almost every edition, returns with a set spanning acid, jungle and hardcore.
Tickets are sold through DICE, with the programme split between concerts earlier in the evening and DJ sets running late. Guimaraes sits 50 kilometres north east of Porto, around 50 minutes by train, which makes Porto a realistic base for anyone combining the festival with a longer trip. The full line up was still being announced at the time of writing. For a Portuguese music festival that books on instinct rather than chart position, Mucho Flow is the one to watch.
