About Danza Futura
Danza Futura returns to Viana do Castelo on 11 and 12 June 2027, two days in the far north of Portugal. The organisers publish full sets alongside the aftermovie for each edition, including Setaoc Mass and Kerrie from the 2026 festival, which gives a clear picture of the programming.
Viana do Castelo sits where the Lima river meets the Atlantic, with the Santa Luzia basilica on the hill above the town and the beaches of the Costa Verde either side. The north of Portugal has a strong techno audience built around Porto, an hour south.
Tickets are sold through Shotgun and Weeztix. Porto is an hour away by road or train with Francisco Sa Carneiro airport taking flights from across Europe, and Santiago de Compostela is two hours north across the Spanish border. Mid June on the Costa Verde is around 22 degrees with the Atlantic cool. For a Portuguese techno music festival outside Lisbon, Danza Futura is the northern one.
