About Grelle Forelle

Grelle Forelle is an electronic music club at Spittelauer Lände 12 in Vienna's 9th district, on the bank of the Danube Canal near Spittelau station. It opened in December 2011. Techno is the musical focus, alongside house, hip-hop live shows and alternative concerts, and the club describes its identity as a commitment to underground music rather than a narrow genre. There are two floors, the main Clubfloor and the smaller Kitchen, with room for about 700 guests. The sound system was created by Pro Performance with Alcons Audio QR36 tops and Lambda Labs DW15 double-wave horn bass. Club nights run on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 06:00 and are strictly 21+, photography and recording are banned, and there is no table service or VIP reservation. The October 2026 programme includes Pan-Pot and a Modeselektor concert.
