About FLUCC

FLUCC is a club and culture centre at Praterstern in Vienna's Leopoldstadt. The artist group Dynamo opened the first Fluc on 1 May 2002 as a small off-space in the old Praterstern station, and after the station was demolished in 2005 the project moved 50 steps away into a new building by architect Klaus Stattmann: two sky-blue assemblages of reused containers leading down into a former pedestrian underpass. The downstairs WANNE (about 300 square metres) and the upstairs DECK (about 150 square metres) host concerts and club nights, with two terraces outside. Most events come from outside promoters, from techno and house nights to live bands, art, talks and workshops. The second C in the name stands for community, and FLUCC has been a culture anchor centre of the City of Vienna since 2023.

Club and night events are 18+ unless the event page says otherwise, and concerts are usually 16+. The door welcomes open-minded people from all scenes on the basis of respect, consent and solidarity, but may refuse entry at its discretion; some nights such as FLINTA* clubs have their own door policy.
