About Electric Mountain Festival
Electric Mountain Festival returns to Solden from 12 to 17 April 2027, with the main event staged at 2,300 metres above the Otztal valley in Tyrol. The resort runs the festival itself and presents top electronic dance music acts in what it describes as a very special event location on the mountain.
Solden is one of the most snow sure resorts in Austria, with two glaciers and skiing to 3,340 metres, which is why a mid April festival there still has full winter conditions when lower resorts are closing. The mountain staging is the point: the altitude is part of the production rather than a backdrop.
Accommodation and festival information are published through the Solden tourism site. Innsbruck is around an hour away by road and Munich three hours, with the Otztal valley reached from the Inntal motorway. Official aftermovies exist for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 editions. For an Austrian alpine music festival staged at genuine altitude, Electric Mountain is the highest of them.
