About Los Globos

Los Globos is a two-storey nightclub and concert venue at 3040 W Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. The building opened in the mid 1930s as an American Legion hall, and the club says it is one of the oldest night clubs still running in Los Angeles, once home to one of the city's first openly gay clubs and to the first legal rave in the United States. After a makeover in 2011 it has two floors, each with its own stage, plus four bars, VIP sections and a smoking patio, and the downstairs system uses Funktion-One subs and tops. The programme is broad, from reggaeton, hip hop and pop nights to house and disco parties such as Rhonda, with past guests including Soul Clap, Droog, Tale of Us and Marques Wyatt.
