About Culture Box

Culture Box is a club for electronic music at Kronprinsessegade 54 in central Copenhagen, near Nyboder. It opened in 2005 and has booked international and local underground artists every week since, with techno and house at its core. There are two rooms: Black Box on the ground floor and the smaller Red Box downstairs. Nights run on Friday and Saturday from 22:00 to 08:00, and entry drops after 06:00. The club is run by Culture Box ApS alongside the non-profit Kulturforening CB, which is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and the City of Copenhagen. It has won Best Danish Club at the DDJA awards six times, most recently in 2015, and it runs an attitude code with no photos or filming, a safer space crew and Good Night Out accreditation.
