About Den Anden Side

Den Anden Side is an electronic music club at Axeltorv in central Copenhagen, below one of Denmark's oldest cinemas. It opened in November 2022 as the third club from the team behind Et Andet Sted (2017) and Ved Siden Af (2018), moving to a larger space. The main floor holds 450 guests, with a 4-way Funktion-One system and podiums and cages on the dancefloor, and the smaller Den Anden Ende holds 40. Most nights are curated by local promoter collectives, leaning towards the harder side of techno and trance, alongside house and bass. The club runs a strict no-photo policy with stickers on phone cameras, a door selection system and an awareness team, and aims to be a safer space for queer and marginalised people.

Door policy

From the club's own rules

Every club night has a door selection level (soft, normal or strict), stated in the event info. Phone cameras are covered with stickers, no photos or videos are allowed, and coats go in a locker. There is no dress code unless the event says so, but formal wear and uniforms are not advised.
