About Poolen

Poolen is a warehouse venue at Refshalevej 189 on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen, set at the end of a road between a pool of water and a junkyard on what the venue calls the city's last industrial frontier. It is run by the team behind Pumpehuset and Byhaven and hosts concerts, raves and club nights in a standing-only hall with a balcony, plus a large outdoor arrival area with a cloakroom and covered seating. The club programme leans on techno, trance and bass: autumn 2026 dates include Kevin de Vries and Massano on 2 October, Infected Mushroom, Nico Moreno, Sub Focus, Boiler Room on 11 December, Teletech and Faustix, with Paul van Dyk booked for January 2027. Age limits are set per event, bags are checked at the door and re-entry is not allowed.

Age limits depend on the event (18+ for Kevin de Vries & Massano; most concerts have none). Bags are checked and guests are patted down at the entrance, re-entry is not permitted, and security can refuse guests who are too intoxicated.
