About RUST

RUST is a music venue, bar and nightclub at Guldbergsgade 8 in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. It began in 1989 as Kafé Rust, a campaign café for the Next Stop peace movement named after the German pilot Mathias Rust, and reopened as a bar and venue for Copenhagen's music underground in February 1990. Today the building houses the concert venue, the CONGA bar and RUST Natklub. Concerts hold 220 people on an FBT sound system, and the live programme covers many genres, with past performers including Bloc Party, Post Malone, MØ, Bruno Mars, Trentemøller and Moby. On Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 04:00 the room turns into RUST Natklub, a 21+ night of hip hop, R&B, edits and classics, and guests accept a safer space policy before entering. RUST is cashless and takes cards only.
