LTECNYD (Melbourne, Australia) 2027

LTECNYD, the New Year’s Day festival from Let Them Eat Cake, returns on Friday 1 January 2027 at The Nursery At Flemington in Melbourne. According to the official ticket listing, the event runs from 12pm to 11pm, and the organisers describe it as Australia’s premier New Years Day dance music festival and a cultural gathering formed to explore the union of music and art.

The 2027 lineup mixes international headliners with local and New Zealand talent. Boys Noize travels from Germany, Joy Orbison, Ewan McVicar and Kirollus come from the UK, and Anetha brings her fast, hard techno from France. New Zealand is represented by Chaos In The CBD and Lady Shaka, while the Australian contingent includes C.FRIM & MIRASIA, Dean Turnley, Denim, Jennifer Loveless, Juicy Romance, Mikalah Watego, Partiboi69, Shanti, Soul Wun, TRUSTEE, Wax’O Paradiso and William Kiss. A special guest from the US is still to be named.

Let Them Eat Cake has been welcoming the new year in Melbourne since 1 January 2013, turning the first day of the year into a full day festival rather than a recovery day. The 2025 edition took place at Werribee Park, west of the city, and for 2027 the festival sets up at The Nursery At Flemington in the inner Melbourne suburb of Flemington.
