About Blå

Blå is a bar, club and concert venue at Brenneriveien 9c in Grünerløkka, Oslo. It opened on 28 February 1998 in a building that was once a storage warehouse for gold and diamonds, and it started as a jazz club for up-and-coming artists. Today it programmes Norwegian and international music across genres, from indie, rock, jazz and experimental acts to club nights with DJs. The main hall holds 350 people and has an Adamson line array PA, the second-floor room Himmel takes 60 to 120, and the outdoor terrace can host up to 500 for concerts. Autumn 2026 shows include Kiss Facility on 22 October and Ana Roxanne on 13 November. Age limits are set per event, often 20+, ID is always required, payment is by card only and photography is not allowed.
