Monument Festival (Veggli, Norway) 2027

Monument Festival runs from Thursday 29 July to Monday 2 August 2027 in the forest near Veggli in Numedal, central Norway, with gates opening at 09:30 and the site closing at 17:00 on the Monday. The festival is organised by the Oslo collective behind the MNMT platform and describes itself as a four day gathering built around music, food, art and yoga rather than a conventional stage bill.

Entry is restricted to those aged 23 and over, which is unusually high and deliberately shapes the crowd. The 2027 edition had sold out at the time of writing. Regular festival tickets covered Thursday to Sunday with camping until Monday morning at 2,090 Norwegian kroner, and a separate allocation of women and non binary tickets is held back each year to keep the balance on the dancefloor even. Those cannot be exchanged for regular tickets.

Vehicle passes are sold separately: 700 kroner for a car, 300 for a motorcycle and 1,280 for a campervan, with sleeping in the car park not permitted. Glamping runs on pre pitched lavvo tents for five to seven people, rented from Thursday to Monday against a 1,000 kroner deposit refunded on departure. There are no ticket refunds, with resale handled through the festival’s own Facebook group. Veggli lies around two and a half hours west of Oslo. It is a forest music festival with a strong community code.
