Ypsilon Festival (Drammen, Norway) 2027

Ypsilon Festival returns to the Byparken in Drammen on 20 and 21 August 2027, running two days in the city park on the Drammenselva river south west of Oslo. The festival uses a central municipal park rather than a field outside town, which keeps the whole event within walking distance of the station and the city’s restaurants and bars.

Programming mixes Norwegian artists with international bookings across pop and electronic music, pitched by the organisers as summer idyll, good vibes and heavy music in roughly that order. Drammen is a city of around 100,000 people and the festival functions as its main summer event, which gives it a civic character that larger Norwegian festivals do not have.

A limited allocation of discounted tickets for 2027 went on sale directly after the 2026 edition, with further phases following through the year, all sold through the official site. The organisers also ran a public poll asking who audiences wanted to see on the 2027 bill. Drammen is 35 minutes from Oslo by train and 20 minutes from Oslo Torp airport by road. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. It is a compact Norwegian city music festival.
