About berlinClub

berlinClub is the late-night club side of Café Berlín, a concert hall at Costanilla de los Ángeles 20, a short walk from Callao in central Madrid. Café Berlín closed its old room on Calle Jacometrezo in January 2016 and reopened nearby in March 2016 under the same management, in a 500 square metre space with a capacity of 254. The club nights began in 2012 and draw on music of African American roots, with jazz, soul, disco and house alongside electronic club music. Guests have included John Morales, Rahaan, Hunee, Maurice Fulton, Antal and Shanti Celeste. DJ sessions start after the evening concerts, usually from 00:30, with promoter nights such as Danke, Papaia Club and 99 Percent Nice, and the booth has Technics turntables and an E&S rotary mixer.
