Q1: What period or event in your artistic journey has had the most significant impact on you?

Answer: “The moment that was really important for me was when I started to get requests abroad. After years of playing the local scene in Romania, hosting and organizing my own events as well, in 2015 I started playing internationally and getting requests worldwide. This was something that I dreamt of since I started.”

Q2: Which three words would you use to describe your life, and why?

Answer: “My life is basically ‘organized chaos’ because it’s busy, but I’ve found my own way to keep things running smoothly. It’s also ‘serene’ thanks to those little moments of calm, and overall ‘happy’ because I focus on the simple joys.”

Q3: Can you share some insights about the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your career and how you overcame them?

Answer: “I think that in every career there are ups and downs, but you need to be consistent. The biggest challenge was, of course, the pandemic time. Our industry was one of the last to recover, and I believe that was the biggest challenge related to my career.”

Q4: How has your artistic approach or style evolved over time?

Answer: “My style changed over the years. I started with techno, like Gabriel Ananda and Shlomi Aber. Over time, I have played minimal techno, deep house, melodic, and then back to techno. Nowadays, I am playing faster than before, with a fusion of techno and hard techno, infused with acid, trancy influences, and neo rave.”

Q5: Which of your works holds a special meaning for you and why?

Answer: “Being subjective, I like all of my tracks! But I am very proud and happy about the remix I did for ‘Chakra – Home’, released on Armada Music. Having the opportunity to remix such a classic was something else, and of course, being on board at Armada Music.”

Q6: What are your thoughts on the role and impact of your life in society?

Answer: “I think my music plays a dual role; it’s an escape and a form of entertainment for the crowd. Through my music, I want to bring people together, lift their spirits, and hopefully make a positive impact — even if it’s just for a moment.”

Q7: What does your creative process look like, and do you have any routines or rituals when working on a piece?

Answer: “There is no ritual when it comes to the studio. The inspiration comes alongside the elements that you choose. The creative process starts while I am selecting the elements for the next track. It’s about the sound design. The better you choose the elements and the better you adjust with the plugins and effects, the better the creativity flows.”

Q8: What are some projects or goals you hope to achieve with your life in the future?

Answer: “This year, I am finally launching my own label, ‘KOMBUSTIVE’. Many tracks are set to be released, and I am very excited about this. I can’t wait to see this project brought to life and start organizing label showcases worldwide. This is my goal. Besides, there are still many festivals where I would like to play, but I am sure everything will happen when it’s supposed to. For example, I was dreaming of playing at Ultra Miami, and this year it’s happening. I am super happy about it.”
