AM.I Makes Her Debut on Brazilian Label Kaligo Records
The Belgian DJ and producer is yet another artist who represents the rise and talent of women on the global techno scene.
Fresh from a performance at the latest edition of Tomorrowland, in Belgium, which is her home country, DJ and producer AM.I crossed oceans to share her unique and powerful signature within techno through her newest EP on the Brazilian label Kaligo Records, a label that has recently garnered support from stars like Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, and more.
Always keeping an eye on new things and promising producers in the industry, Kaligo Records has been helping to reveal diverse talents to the world and is now collaborating in the rise of AM.I, who delivered three tracks bringing together the best of her world (a more melodic and emotional approach), with the heavier and darker side of techno music.
“Hypersensitive” starts with 132 BPM and shows the cards right away with precise kicks surrounded by a hypnotic melody. “Detachment” is the most melodic of all, but still intense, with a more spacey and traveling atmosphere. Finally, “Covert Energy” presents a discreet flirtation with trance beats, leading us into a dark and closed cave where there seems to be no way out.
