About Snowboxx
Snowboxx takes place from 13 to 20 March 2027 in Avoriaz, the French resort that sits inside the Portes du Soleil, the largest linked ski area in the world. The week is the longest running of the British snow festivals and the one that set the template the others follow.
Avoriaz is car free and built directly into the mountain above Morzine, which means the resort functions as the festival site: accommodation, lifts, apres-ski venues and the main stages are all within walking distance. The organisers publish aftermovies and highlight films for each edition.
Packages covering accommodation, lift pass and festival entry are booked through the festival’s own site. Geneva is the arrival airport at around two hours by transfer, which puts Avoriaz within reach of most of Europe. Mid March at 1,800 metres gives reliable snow with spring sunshine on the terraces. For a snow music festival week, Snowboxx is the biggest name in the format.
