Sea Dance is EXIT’s beach festival on the Montenegrin coast. The 2026 edition, billed as the Sea Dance Edition of EXIT 2 Montenegro, ran from 28 to 30 August on Bečići Beach, just east of Budva, and closed the EXIT to Montenegro summer that had opened in Ulcinj in July. The organisers counted 93,000 visitors across the three nights, 39,000 of them on the opening Friday, with guests arriving from more than 100 countries.

Who played Sea Dance 2026?

Three stages ran every night. The Main Stage carried the headliners: HUGEL, Enrico Sangiuliano and Charlotte de Witte on Friday, where de Witte extended her 01:15 closing set; DARA, John Newman with an exclusive new live show, Burak Yeter and the Who See vs Bad Copy clash on Saturday; and a Lanna b2b Layla Benitez set before Boris Brejcha closed the festival with a two-hour performance on Sunday.

The Dance Paradise Stage was the underground room. RPR Soundsystem, the trio of Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu and Raresh, played a six-hour set on the opening night, Marcel Dettmann and BIIA took Saturday, and Coeus handed over to Mita Gami, whose psychedelic house kept the beach dancing past 6am on the final morning. The Homeground Stage was given to Montenegrin and regional selectors, with back-to-back pairings running until the early hours each night.

How did people get to Bečići Beach?

Entry was free with advance registration, which closed at midnight on 24 August; after that, entry was sold at a symbolic price through Gigstix and at the gate. Gates opened at 19:00. There was no parking next to the site, so the organisers opened five free car parks across Budva (Top Hill, Sportski centar, Lugovi, MOC and Sunny Side) and ran shuttles from Hotel Tre Canne and the Lugovi stadium every 10 to 15 minutes for 3 euros each way, with return shuttles from 01:00 to 04:00. Organised buses came in from Ulcinj, Bar, Petrovac, Nikšić, Podgorica, Herceg Novi and Tivat, with return tickets between 12 and 22 euros. On foot, the site is about 2.5 kilometres from Slovenska Beach along the promenade.

The festival weekend was framed by warm-up parties from 24 to 27 August and a farewell event on 31 August.
