Boothstock Festival is a one day house and techno festival in the Kralingse Bos, the large wooded park on the east side of Rotterdam. The 2026 edition took place on Saturday 13 June across seven stages, and the organisers announced it completely sold out the day before the gates opened.

What is Boothstock Festival?

Boothstock is a Rotterdam institution built around DJs rather than big stage production. Its bill mixes house, techno, urban music and “everything in between”, in the organisers’ own words, and it leans on local heroes as much as on international names. The 2026 line-up paired Armand van Helden, playing Rotterdam for the first time in more than twenty years, with Dutch favourites such as Benny Rodrigues, Michel de Hey, Secret Cinema and Cynthia Spiering.

Each stage has its own identity. Mr. Belt & Wezol brought back their Cuckoos Nest concept, the Bumperstage hosted Philou Louzolo, Yulia Niko and Cincity, and DJ Irwan curated a hip-hop and R&B area on the beach. The faster end of the music festival programme belonged to acts like 999999999, Diøn and Øtta, while Prunk played back to back with Hot Since 82.

Where does it take place?

The festival has been held in the Kralingse Bos since 2015, when the organisers moved it to the park famous for the Holland Pop festivals. The entrance is inside the forest at the crossing of Princess Beatrixlaan and Langepad, and the organisers point visitors to metro station Gerdesiaweg, about a fifteen minute walk away. Parking on the streets around the park is not allowed.

When is the next edition?

The organisers have not announced the date of the 2027 edition yet. They opened an Early Access ticket sale for next year a few days after the 2026 festival, starting at €59.50 before fees, without naming a date. This page will be updated when the official channels confirm it.
