September 25-27 will bring Same Same But Different Festival back to the shores of Lake Perris in Southern California, transforming Moreno Beach at Lake Perris State Park into an intimate three-day escape where electronic music, art, wellness, and community come together beneath the California sun. The 2026 edition presents a diverse musical programme led by LSDREAM, GRAMATIK, Of The Trees, Tape B, and Andy Frasco & The U.N., with Kasablanca, EFFIN, Steller, Chef Boyarbeatz, CØNTRA, KLO, Koastle (Live), Peace Control, Ship Wrek, Tara Brooks, Mishell, Très Mortimer, Twin Diplomacy, and WonkyWilla featuring Strawberry Disco Circus adding further depth across the festival’s stages. Rather than following the conventional music festival formula, Same Same But Different builds its experience around seven stages, including Same Stage, Different Stage, Coco Cove, InnerBass, The Dome, Nakey Island, and late-night spaces, with alternating performances on the two main stages designed so audiences can catch every headliner without difficult clashes. The lakeside setting is central to the festival’s identity, offering beach days, camping, swimming, art installations, and a relaxed environment that feels worlds away from a traditional urban festival. Beyond the music, more than 75 workshops will explore yoga, dance, meditation, wellness, sustainability, creativity, and movement, while live painters, interactive art installations, pop-up performances, games, and unexpected discoveries fill the spaces between sets. With attendance intentionally limited to around 7,500 people, the festival places a strong emphasis on connection and a close-knit atmosphere rather than scale alone. Camping is included with festival passes, making it possible to stay beside the lake and experience the event from its opening moments through its late-night sessions. Same Same But Different 2026 ultimately offers a refreshing alternative to the conventional festival weekend, blending forward-thinking electronic music with outdoor adventure, creative expression, and a genuine sense of community at Lake Perris.
