Ozora Festival (Ozora, Hungary) 2027

OZORA Festival returns to Dadpuszta in Hungary from 23 July to 3 August 2027, twelve days on the estate near the village of Ozora that has hosted the gathering since 2004. It is one of the largest psychedelic trance events in the world and draws visitors from more than 80 countries to a site roughly 140 kilometres south west of Budapest, near the southern shore of Lake Balaton.

The festival traces back to the 1999 Solipse gathering held at Ozora for the total solar eclipse that crossed Hungary that August, and the modern event grew out of that weekend. The site is laid out around a main stage that runs full tilt through the night, the Dragon Nest for darker and faster material, the Pumpui and Ambyence areas for ambient and downtempo, plus a chill dome, an artisan market, a healing area and a programme of talks and workshops that fills the daylight hours.

The first days of the run are given over to a slower warm up week before the main festival proper opens, a structure that distinguishes OZORA from most European summer events. Tickets are sold in tiers through the official shop and historically sell out well ahead of the gates opening. Most international visitors fly into Budapest and use the official airport shuttle, while Simontornya is the nearest railway station to the site.
