About
Under the open desert sky of Reno, Desert Moon Festival returns to Reno City Plaza on September 26-27, bringing two days of hard-hitting electronic music to the heart of Northern Nevada. Following the momentum of its 2025 debut, which featured bass heavyweights including Sullivan King, ATLiens, FuntCase, GHENGAR, Habstrakt and Midnight Tyrannosaurus, the music festival enters its second edition with a fresh lineup built around some of the scene’s most distinctive sounds. The 2026 program is led by SVDDEN DEATH, LAYZ and TYNAN on September 26, joined by Capochino, HAMRO and WING!, before the energy shifts on September 27 with Deorro, BOLO THE DJ, Close Friends Only, ROMMII, DoKnow El DJ and Bert PM. From aggressive dubstep and bass-driven production to festival-ready electronic rhythms, Desert Moon is designed for listeners who want their weekend centered on powerful sound and high-impact performances. Taking over Reno City Plaza, the event places a large-scale electronic gathering directly in the city rather than a remote festival site, giving attendees an urban setting while keeping the music at the forefront. After establishing itself with a bass-focused first edition, Desert Moon 2026 continues to carve out its own identity through a combination of established headliners, rising talent and regional energy. With two days of carefully selected artists and a crowd drawn to heavier electronic sounds, the festival offers a concentrated weekend of headbanging sets, late-summer atmosphere and the unmistakable pulse of Reno’s growing electronic music scene.
