Tokonoma Club

Tokonoma Club is an electronic music club at Gutleutstraße 320 in Frankfurt's Gutleut district, run by nomad.iv GmbH. The club describes itself as industrial and warm, raw and refined, and is laid out as three rooms with their own design and sound. Drift, room one, has a low ceiling and is the techno room. Holo, room two, is a sunken space for house. Sākuru, room three and still a work in progress, is a dim lounge off the dancefloor where artists gather. The club offers a membership, rents its rooms for flea markets, business events, outdoor cinema and poetry slams, and ran a Startnext crowdfunding campaign to help build the club. Its Sākuru mix series, filmed at the club, features residents such as ZSZS. Past nights listed on Resident Advisor include Heartcore, Lucid Dreams and Naschen.
