About Südpol

Südpol is a techno club in an old building among office blocks on the Billekanal in Hammerbrook, Hamburg, at Süderstraße 112. The building was restored with help from the Hamburg culture authority, the Kreativgesellschaft Hamburg and many volunteers, and the club is run by the cultural association Kulturelles Neuland e.V. The programme centres on electronic music, from regular techno parties to queer and downtempo events, with punk concerts and cinema as well, and events last anywhere from 3 to 48 hours. The Expedition Südpol weekend on 2 to 4 October 2026 runs from Friday night to Sunday evening with Matrixxman, Andreas Henneberg and resident Sheila. Other residents include Marco Baskind, HerrHoppe and Antoine Baiser. Photos and videos are not allowed inside.
