Hafenklang is an independent music club at Große Elbstraße 84 in Altona, near the Hamburg Fischmarkt. It has hosted subculture events since 1996, with a break from 2006 to 2009 while the building was renovated and the club moved temporarily to Große Bergstraße. The club describes itself as a 250 capacity music club whose own booking team curates the programme. Rooms include the downstairs concert hall and bar, the Goldener Salon and a band room. The programme mixes punk, indie and post punk concerts with parties such as Mash Up Di Bass, Damaged Goods and Drumbule, plus readings, cinema and flea markets. For its 30th anniversary in 2026 it ran eight days of club events and a free open air on 1 and 2 August.
