About Flash

Flash is a nightclub and bar at 645 Florida Avenue NW in the Shaw district of Washington DC, a two minute walk from Shaw/Howard University Metro station. It opened in June 2013 as a collaboration between music lovers, former DJs and music industry veterans who wanted an intimate room where fans can hear artists in good conditions. The Club Level is an acoustically treated room with a custom Funktion-One sound system, a bar and wall-to-wall bench seating. The ground floor Flash Bar has a second dancefloor and DJ area, and the rooftop Green Room has a third DJ booth and a fully retractable roof with bi-fold doors. Every Friday and Saturday Flash books national and international DJs across house music from disco to techno, with drum and bass and other electronic styles on other nights.
