About ILLfest
ILLfest returns to Austin from 4 to 6 June 2027, with the 2027 presale already open at the lowest ticket price. The festival reached its eighth edition in 2026, which makes it one of the longer running independent electronic events in Texas.
Austin is the obvious Texas host. The city built its identity on live music and has the venue infrastructure and the audience that a festival needs, without the summer heat of Houston or the sprawl of Dallas making the logistics impossible in early June.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site, and the organisers run an app on both the App Store and Google Play. Austin-Bergstrom is 20 minutes from downtown with direct flights from across North America and some European routes. Early June in central Texas is hot at around 33 degrees, which shapes the daytime programming. For a Texan electronic music festival, ILLfest is the Austin one.
