About Basic Club
Basic Club is a 500 capacity club on Viale Giovanni Boccaccio in Cercola, on the eastern edge of Naples below Vesuvius. It is built around its sound: the main hall has a custom analog system modelled on the work of Richard Long and Alex Rosner for the Paradise Garage and the Loft, with two large stacks in Finnish birch, each split into five sections, and a Levan Horn sub bass that reaches down to 30 Hz. Two more custom stacks with Bertha subs were added later. The club describes its idea as essence over appearance, a place to get lost in the music. The programme favours long sets in house, disco and techno, with series such as All nighters and Basically Antal and guests including Theo Parrish, Jane Fitz, Palms Trax and Hunee.
