After two decades behind the decks, Istanbul based, internationally renowned DJ and producer Orkun Bozdemir presents his long-awaited debut album “FOR YOUR SOUL ONLY.” A deeply personal body of work built around connection, rhythm, and human emotion beyond algorithms.

Created as a response to the fast-consumption culture of modern streaming, the album returns to the essence of electronic music: timeless grooves, constantly rising energy, and music made from human to human.

Blending Afro House, Deep House and tribal influences, “FOR YOUR SOUL ONLY” reflects the sound journey of dance floors across Istanbul, Mykonos, Berlin, Athens, Milano, Tbilisi and beyond. Distilled into a carefully curated listening experience designed both for clubs and immersive home listening.

After 20 years busy with shaping dance music scene in Istanbul, releasing music from great labels like Madorasindahouse Recordings, Rennaissence Records, Redolent, Switch Records, LSF21+, being supported by Andhim, Magit Cacoon, Philipp Straub, Shimza, Valeron, Fideles, John Digweed, Enzo Siffredi, JAMIIE, Gianni Romano, Francis Mercier, Chus, Marten Lou, Carl Craig, Liva K, Steve Lawler, Mahmut Orhan, Polo & Pan, Maga, Fideles, Themba, Emanuele Esposito, Floyd Lavine, Jane Ryse, Amine K and many more… and DJing all around the world from Rome to Marrakech, Belgrade to Tulum, Geneva to Milano, Athens to Ibiza, Mykonos to Tbilisi… Bozdemir decided to release his debut album to celebrate 2 decades in the industry.

Inspired by the iconic DJ compilation albums of the 2000s, the album unfolds as a multi-genre journey, cohesive in narrative, with energy rising track by track in a seamless flow.

Bringing together a wide range of creative collaborations, the album embraces both established global names and emerging local talents, driven by a mission to open the doors of the international scene to a new generation of artists. While internationally recognized acts such as Benjamin Franklin from Marbella, Alex Kosh from Athens, Ucha from Tbilisi, and Last95 from Belgrade elevate the album’s global presence, artists from Türkiye, including Semih Akay, YokYOK, Adios Ayer, Baran Eser, Enes Yaman, Batu Aydoğmuş, and Temmuz Ağdere, add their own brilliance, shining a light outward toward the world stage.
