Wasteland Festival (San Bernardino, CA, USA) 2027

Wasteland returns to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on 3 and 4 September 2027, running two days of hard dance in the Inland Empire east of Los Angeles. The festival is produced by Insomniac and built around three hosted stages from Basscon, Mutate and Unreal, each taking a different corner of the harder end of electronic music, and the whole thing runs at 150 beats per minute and above.

The programming covers hardstyle, hard techno and hardcore, with the organisers describing the site as an apocalyptic arena and leaning into the post apocalyptic theming across production and staging. That focus is unusual in the United States, where hard dance rarely gets dedicated festivals at this scale, and it has made Wasteland the main gathering point for the style on the west coast.

Tickets run in general admission and VIP tiers through the official site, with an official afterparty, lockers, premier parking and hotel packages sold alongside. The NOS Events Center is the former National Orange Show fairground, around 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and well served by the I-10 and I-215. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For hard dance in southern California, it is the music festival that owns the space.
