About Twominds Festival
Twominds Festival marks its fifth anniversary from 12 to 14 March 2027, set amongst the trees of Spencer Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park around 20 minutes from Christchurch. Five years is the point at which a New Zealand independent festival either folds or becomes a fixture, and Twominds has made the second.
The site is a working holiday park on the coast north of the city, which means the camping infrastructure is permanent rather than built for the weekend, and the tree cover gives the stages natural shelter. The organisers publish an official aftermovie for each edition, with films from 2023, 2024 and 2026 online.
Tickets are sold through Flicket. Christchurch International is 25 minutes from the site with direct flights from across Australia and the Pacific, and mid March in Canterbury is the end of the New Zealand summer, warm in the day and cool enough at night for a sleeping bag. For a South Island music festival, Twominds has built the strongest independent following.
