About Sunny Side Festival
Sunny Side Festival returns to Malta from 13 to 17 May 2027, five days on the island. The festival has run since at least 2024 and has grown into one of the fixtures of the Maltese season, timed for the start of the open air calendar rather than the peak summer.
May is the smart slot in Malta. The island fills with festival traffic from June onwards, which pushes prices up and spreads the audience thin, while mid May gives warm weather and an island still working at its own pace.
Tickets and details are published through the festival’s own site. Malta International takes direct flights from across Europe and the UK, nowhere on the island is more than 40 minutes away, and mid May is around 23 degrees with the sea beginning to warm.
