Glitch Festival (Gianpula, Malta) 2027

Glitch Festival returns to Gianpula in Malta from 11 to 14 August 2027, running four days of house and techno on the island. The 2026 edition marked ten years since the festival began and sold out, and the organisers have described the next edition as the start of a new chapter for what has grown from a local idea into an event that pulls an international audience to the central Mediterranean every August.

The format runs daytime and night time programming across multiple stages in the Gianpula complex, with pool and open air areas alongside the main arenas. Booking sits at the more credible end of house and techno rather than the commercial mainstream, and the festival publishes an official aftermovie each year, with the 2025 film the most watched at over 50,000 views.

Pre-sale tickets for 2027 sold out in what the organisers called record time, with tier one tickets released afterwards and a registration list giving early access to subsequent phases. Malta International Airport is around 20 minutes from Gianpula and the island is served by budget airlines from most of Europe, which is a large part of why the festival travels so well. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. It is the Maltese music festival with the furthest reach.
