Sonora (Bordeaux, France) 2026

Sonora returns to Bordeaux on 16 and 17 October 2026, running two nights of techno in the south west of France. The Sonora brand has built itself on large scale indoor productions in the city, booking from the harder end of European techno and publishing full set recordings afterwards, several of which have passed six figures of views.

Shlomo’s set at a previous Bordeaux edition is the most watched of those, which gives a reasonable indication of the direction: driving, fast and physical rather than melodic. The promoter also collaborates with Madame Loyal on larger XXL editions, pooling production and audiences for one off shows across France.

Tickets are sold through Shotgun, which also carries the line up, set times and venue details closer to the date. Bordeaux is two hours from Paris on the high speed line and has its own international airport at Merignac, 30 minutes from the centre, with the city’s club scene concentrated around the Darwin and Bassins a Flot areas. The 2026 line up was being announced in stages at the time of writing. For techno in south west France, it is the music festival brand that fills the room.
