Sola Luna Festival (Khanom, Thailand) 2026

Sola Luna runs at Tycoons Place in Khanom from 30 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, five days of psychedelic New Year celebration on the Gulf of Thailand coast. Khanom sits in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, a quiet stretch of coast between Surat Thani and the ferry ports for Koh Samui, which keeps the festival away from the island circuit entirely.

The programme runs a main stage and an alternative stage with a separate art and decor strand, plus afterparties built into the schedule. The festival publishes an official aftermovie for each edition, and the organisers work with Ligor Spirit on the local production side.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site, which also carries accommodation, transportation and a how to get there guide, all of which matter for a site this far from an airport. Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat are the nearest airports, both around 90 minutes away, with Bangkok an hour’s flight. Late December on the Gulf coast is the end of the monsoon, so rain is possible. For a Thai psychedelic New Year music festival, Sola Luna is the one on the mainland.
