About Same Same But Different Festival
Same Same But Different Festival returns to Moreno Beach at Lake Perris State Park in Perris, California, from 24 to 26 September 2027. The festival brings electronic music, art, wellness and community together over three days by the lake, and it describes itself as an alternative to the conventional festival weekend.
The lineup for the 2027 edition has not been announced yet. The 2026 edition was led by LSDREAM, Gramatik, Of The Trees, Tape B and Andy Frasco & The U.N., with Kasablanca, Effin, Chef Boyarbeatz, CØNTRA and Koastle (Live) among the names on the wider bill. The programme mixes bass, electronic and live acts.
The festival is built around several stages rather than a single main area. In 2026 these included Same Stage, Different Stage, Coco Cove, InnerBass and The Dome, and the two main stages alternated performances so that visitors could catch every headliner without clashes.
The lakeside setting is central to the identity. Past editions offered beach days, swimming, art installations, live painters and more than 75 workshops covering yoga, dance, meditation, wellness, sustainability and creativity. Attendance was intentionally kept limited to support a close-knit atmosphere.
In 2026 camping was included with festival passes, which made it possible to stay beside the lake for the whole weekend. Check the official website for the 2027 pass types and camping rules, and follow the official channels for lineup news and practical information.
