OSHEAGA (Montreal, QC, Canada) 2027

OSHEAGA returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau on Ile Sainte-Helene in Montreal from 30 July to 1 August 2027, three days of music across an island park in the middle of the Saint Lawrence river. The event is the largest multi genre festival in Canada, carrying close to 100 artists across multiple stages each year, and is produced by evenko.

The site works in the festival’s favour. Parc Jean-Drapeau sits a few minutes from downtown Montreal on the metro’s yellow line, which means most attendees travel in by rail rather than car, and the main stages face a natural slope with the city skyline behind them. Programming mixes headline rock and pop with hip hop, indie and a substantial electronic strand, the last of which has historically filled a dedicated stage running later into the evening.

OSHEAGA was launched over the Labour Day weekend of 2 and 3 September 2006 and moved to its current midsummer slot as it grew. Past bills have ranged from international headliners to Quebec acts, and the festival now sells out well in advance on weekend passes.
