About NorthSide Festival
NorthSide returns to Eskelunden in Aarhus from 10 to 12 June 2027, three days in Denmark’s second city. The festival moved to Eskelunden, a park site south of the centre, and has become the main summer music event in Jutland.
Aarhus is a university city of 300,000 with a young population and a dense cultural programme, which is what supports a festival of this size outside Copenhagen. NorthSide has run since 2010 and publishes an official aftermovie for each edition, with films going back to 2015.
Tickets are sold through the festival’s own site, which also runs a large volunteer programme. Aarhus is three hours from Copenhagen by direct train and has its own airport, with Billund an hour and a half away. Mid June in Denmark is mild at around 19 degrees with light until almost midnight. For a Danish music festival outside the capital, NorthSide is the biggest.
