About
Monegros Desert Festival is a one day, open-air electronic music event staged in the semi-arid Monegros region of Aragon, near the town of Fraga in north-eastern Spain. The site sits off the N-II road at kilometre 416, in a landscape of dust and open horizons that has become the festival’s defining feature. Recent editions have built stage collaborations around the setting, including the OUTWORLD desert stage curated with Klangkuenstler and the multi-genre Face 2 Face stage.
The 2027 edition starts on Saturday 31 July 2027 at 14:00 and runs non-stop for around 22 hours into the morning of Sunday 1 August. Early bird tickets have sold out, according to the official site, and the next presale opens on Wednesday 30 September at 18:00, with a sign-up form offering early access. Ticketing is handled by Enterticket. The 2027 lineup has not been announced.
Monegros is a techno festival built around techno, hard techno and related styles, played across several stages that run through the afternoon, the night and into sunrise. Visitors should plan for heat during the day and cooler desert air overnight, and the official site sells bus transport from Spanish and international cities alongside accommodation options. Because the event runs through a single night, most attendees travel in from Fraga, Lleida, Zaragoza or Barcelona.
