Kudzu (Walterboro, SC, United States) 2026

Kudzu runs from midday on Friday 13 November to midday on Sunday 15 November 2026 near Walterboro in the South Carolina lowcountry, a weekend camping festival staged by the Folk Tech collective. The name is the thesis: kudzu is the vine that has swallowed large parts of the American south, and the organisers use it as a metaphor for an organic force quietly shifting the paradigm around it.

The programming runs across techno, bass, breakbeat, ambient, experimental and dub, with a bill drawn almost entirely from the southeastern underground: Terracotta, Cellphone, Callosum, 6ixx, DJ Deadname, Saiteron, DJ Roselle, Adder Baby, Cousin Tay Tay, Dead Channel, Fortress, Anissa, Quang.oi, Beks, Kayla Hardy, 333blooming, Nthnl.Sound, Mathanki, Crisis Love, Pisgah, Skovaz, DJ Cel.cs, Marteka, Fair Yat and Eupnea. Sound is handled by Phoenix Audio Visual.

Early bird tickets are 85 dollars with the October tier at 90.01, sold through Shotgun, which also runs an in app resale market if plans change. Walterboro sits on the I-95 around an hour west of Charleston, which has the nearest airport, and the same distance from Savannah. Mid November in the lowcountry means mild days and cold nights. It is a small southeastern music festival run by the people who play it.
