About Karnavale
Karnavale runs at New City Gas in Montreal on 30 and 31 October 2026, two nights of electronic music over Halloween in the converted nineteenth century gasworks in Griffintown. The venue is one of the largest nightclubs in Canada, built inside a stone industrial building from the 1860s, and it anchors the Montreal Halloween calendar every year.
The weekend format splits across the two nights with separate programming, and the promoters sell a weekend pass as well as single night tickets. New City Gas books across house, techno and larger main stage electronic music through the year, and the Halloween edition leans into the production and theming the date allows.
Tickets are sold through Tixr, which carries the line up, timings and table service options closer to the date. New City Gas sits at 950 Ottawa Street in Griffintown, a short walk from Bonaventure metro and the Old Port, with Montreal-Trudeau airport 20 minutes away. The 2026 bill was being announced through the venue’s channels at the time of writing. For Halloween in Montreal, it is the music festival weekend the city builds around.
