About Hydrophonic Festival
Hydrophonic returns to Tico Time Resort near Aztec, New Mexico from 13 to 16 May 2027, a boutique sound festival on the banks of the Animas River. The site is a riverside resort at 20 Road 2050 in San Juan County, which means the camping infrastructure is permanent rather than built for the weekend.
The festival runs three stages alongside DJ classes and immersive art, and the teaching element is unusual: most festivals of this size run workshops as an afterthought rather than putting them in the headline billing.
Tickets are sold through Tico Time Resort’s own TicketSpice page. Aztec sits in the north west corner of New Mexico, around 30 minutes from Farmington and three hours from Albuquerque by road, with Durango in Colorado an hour north. Mid May in the high desert is warm at around 26 degrees in the day and cold at night, and the river is running with the snowmelt. For an American boutique music festival on a river, Hydrophonic is the New Mexico one.
