Golden Coast Festival (Dijon, France) 2027

Golden Coast returns to Dijon on 27, 28 and 29 August 2027, running three days of what the organisers call an XXL rap event in the Burgundy capital. The festival has grown quickly into one of the largest urban music gatherings in eastern France, booking French rap alongside American headliners, with Busta Rhymes among the names that have played in recent editions.

Programming sits mainly in rap and urban culture rather than electronic music, though the bill reaches into Afrobeats, drill and club sounds across the three nights. French public broadcaster France Televisions filmed on site at the 2025 edition for a documentary on rap and urban culture, which gives a sense of how the event is positioned nationally.

Tickets are sold through the festival’s own ticketing page, usually in tiered phases, and the organisers run a merchandise line alongside. Dijon sits on the high speed line from Paris, around 90 minutes from Gare de Lyon, and has its own airport connections through Lyon and Geneva for international arrivals. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For urban music rather than dance, it is the Burgundy music festival that fills the slot.
