Fort Décibel Festival (Cussac-Fort-Médoc, France) 2027

Fort Decibel Festival is listed for 9 and 10 July 2027 at Fort Medoc in Cussac-Fort-Medoc, Gironde. The event is a tekno and trance festival staged inside a Vauban fort on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, with three stages, on site camping and food trucks spread through the fortifications and the surrounding ground.

The 2026 edition, booked for 7 and 8 August, was cancelled after a prefectural order banned all sporting and cultural events in the Gironde department during the summer fire risk period. Ticket holders were offered a transfer to the following edition or a refund. That bill had carried 38 artists including Popof, Tristan, Freedom Fighters, Zapravka, Amygdala, Durdenhauer, El Desperado, Dekel, Skizologic and Neurotribe, which gives a reasonable guide to how the festival books.

Fort Medoc is a seventeenth century Vauban fort at 32 Avenue du Fort Medoc, built as part of a three fort system guarding the estuary and now listed as a UNESCO site alongside the rest of the Vauban network. Cussac-Fort-Medoc sits around 45 kilometres north of Bordeaux in the Medoc wine country, reachable by road or by the regional line towards Pointe de Grave. Tickets are handled through Shotgun.
