Festivent de Lévis (Levis, QC, Canada) 2027

Festivent de Levis returns from 4 to 8 August 2027 on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence opposite Quebec City, running five days of music alongside the hot air balloon programme that has defined the event since it began. Balloon inflations and basket checks run across the site each morning and evening, weather permitting, which makes it an unusual proposition among North American summer festivals.

The 2025 edition was the 42nd, so the festival has been running since the early 1980s, and the bill is broad by design. The 2026 line up gives the measure of it: Marshmello and High Klassified on the electronic side, Papa Roach and The Offspring from rock, and Quebec acts including Salebarbes, Kain, Vulgaires Machins, GrimSkunk, Marie-Annick Lepine and JF Pauze. Two stages run side by side, which keeps changeovers short and the crowd in one place.

Levis sits directly across the river from Quebec City, connected by a ferry that runs through the night during the festival, so either side works as a base. Tickets are sold through the official site, with passes and single day options released in phases. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing. For a music festival that puts balloons in the sky over the stages, it has no real equivalent.
