Festival Plein Air (Douai, France) 2027

Festival Plein Air holds its seventh edition at the Parc de Loisirs Jacques Vernier in Douai on 25 and 26 June 2027, two nights of electronic music in a lakeside park on the edge of the northern French town. Gates open at 16:00 on both days, access control closes at midnight and the last set finishes at 02:00.

The site works around the Gayant leisure area, with entry handled only through the Rivage Gayant car park and the arenas set out along the water. The format is a city adjacent festival rather than a camping weekender: Douai station is a fifteen minute walk away, the town centre is eleven minutes by bike, and the organisers lay on late trains towards Lille after the last show so the audience can travel home the same night.

Programming has leaned on house and techno across the previous editions, with the festival growing from a local event into one of the larger electronic dates in the Hauts-de-France region. Everything inside the gates runs on a cashless system handled through the festival’s own app, and residents of Douai can buy discounted passes on proof of address. The first 2027 names were due in December 2026, with pre sale registration open through the official site. Douai sits 22 minutes from Lille and an hour from Paris by train.
