Eskape Festival (Montilly-sur-Noireau, France) 2027

Eskape Festival returns to Montilly-sur-Noireau in Normandy from 30 July to 1 August 2027, running three days across three stages with more than 80 artists on the bill. The organisers describe it as the largest techno and hard music festival in France, and the attendance figure they publish, more than 65,000 across the weekend, supports the claim. Each stage carries its own production, with pyrotechnics, lasers, performers and fireworks written into the show rather than added as decoration.

Camping is included in every ticket. The official campsites sit a few minutes’ walk from the stages, which removes the shuttle logistics that larger French festivals usually involve. A VIP ticket adds raised platforms overlooking each dancefloor and access to the Boiler Room on the techno stage. The Gold pass includes all of that plus the Village Gold: a lounge with premium drinks, private toilets, fast track entry, one drink and one meal per day, and a separate Gold campsite with hot showers.

Tickets are sold through Shotgun and the French Pass Culture scheme is accepted, which matters for the under 20s who make up a large share of the crowd. Eskape also runs a Winter Edition, with the next scheduled for 16 January 2027 in Caen. Montilly-sur-Noireau sits in the Orne, around an hour south of Caen. For hard techno in France, it is the music festival that sets the scale.
